Team Lucas and Webb
We were aware that our sons struggled but did not know, nor could they tell us, that they were so overcome by the struggle, that they intended to release themselves from the pain by ending their lives. We walk in honor and memory of these two good men. We walk in support of anyone struggling with depression and feels that suicide is the only way out.

— Janet and Robin, Holley and Dick
A poem written for both, for all of them, at Christmas time the year of Webb’s death:

About Doorways
Dear son, did your door open
into light? Oh, that it did, and to peace.
Hold tight to that joy that was you,
That light that lit our lives
   and still does
      even now
         as we miss you.
