One Day Giving Extravaganza!

This year on Tuesday, December 1st, Baton Rouge Crisis Intervention Center is participating in 225 GIVES, a one day online giving extravaganza for the Capital Region.
This year we will be a part of the success as 225 GIVES brings together numerous local nonprofits like us to raise more than $4 million.
In its inaugural year, 225 Gives is inspiring people to get up and give, and will result in increased donations and services provided in the Capital Region.
We invite you to join the movement and help us reach our goal of $50,000 for 50 Years of Providing Training and Support Services to the Baton Rouge region and beyond on December 1.
Any amount is greatly appreciated, but let’s have some fun with the following suggested donation amounts:
- $50 — BRCIC has been providing training and support services for 50 years.
- $225 — We are grateful for the opportunity to participate in 225 GIVES.
- $1,970 — We were founded in 1970.
- $1,980 — We began our Survivors of Suicide (SOS) support group in the 80's.
- $1,990 — We developed the first Active Postvention Model (APM) in the 90's.
- $2,000 — First crisis center accredited for online emotional support (OES) in the early 2000's
- $2,018 — Developed the National Suicidology Training Center in 2018 to train others to become local suicidology experts in their communities.
- $2,020 — Celebrated 50 Years of Providing Training and Support Services.
- $3,013 — Our address is 3013 Old Forge Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70808.
- $50,000 — Our entire goal for this Giving Day to help us train more individuals to speak in communities to reduce suicide during and after the pandemic.

Get up and give on December 1!
Your gift matters! On December 1, if you donate to BRCIC at 225GIVES.org/brcic between 12 am and midnight,
your dollars will help the Center earn a chance to win extra funds through challenge prizes and awards! Not available on December 1?
No worries? Make your gift early between November 24 and November 30!
